about
I/ENTJ
Growing up in the midwest, Will has been leading the pack with progressive ideas since he was a kid -- he started a vacation home rental business when he was 14. Move over VRBO.
He graduated from the University of Kentucky with a degree in psychology but not before a semester in New Zealand and Australia, studying how adventure tourism impacts the fragile ecosystems of those two countries. The travel bug quickly took hold and he parlayed his studies on human behavior to exploring how varied cultures live around the world. Will spent the next 4 years traveling the globe, volunteering on sustainability projects and working in classrooms across the borders of 25+ countries.
After a brief stint at the Sundance Film Festival, Will landed in New York City as a Cohort 21 member of the NYC Teaching Fellows. 248 students, six semesters, and one master's degree later he took a pivot and put his classroom instructional experience to practice in tech, building products, evolving systems and developing teams through scale.
Will has spent the past decade creating value and fostering growth in organizations and communities up and down the East Coast. His lifelong focus on learning has helped frame successes and setbacks as opportunities -- he is always eager to find the next adventure.
You can find Will with his husband (Jason) and their dog (Quigley) at their home in the Berkshires and their apartment in Brooklyn.
